Orion Weft

Orion Weft  is a model-agnostic wargame, published as a digital book which includes the rules for play, background on the setting, and one of the factions that I plan to create for the final game. It is set in a world of my own creation, several centuries in the future. In this setting, the excesses of modern capitalism and its supremacies are exaggerated, set against new societies where people are striving for a better ideal of living. There are two factions featured--the capitalist Earth League and the syndicalist New Pact--which contrast in narrative and mechanics to illustrate the diverging paths for humanity’s future. The gameplay has also been tuned to help players enter a flow state, cutting away common sources of downtime in other wargames.
